Introducing the Garden Abstracts - New SCIARPA! Scarf Designs

Hello Beautiful Friends! 

4 New Wearable Art Scarf Designs just dropped!

Introducing the Garden Abstracts:

• Mediterranean - All the colors of a fresh, terraced citrus garden
• Alpine - Cool, mountains in the Springtime, pale pink, deep blue and olive
• Olive - All the shades of green, like frolicking through the olive groves
• Southwest - All the earthy goodness of the desert, including rocks and botanicals

Inspired by a Spoonflower design challenge, the Mediterranean design came first.

The challenge was to create a design with the hues and colors of the Mediterranean in mind. It was perfect for me, as I often find myself longing to be back in Positano along the Amalfi coast, with the scent of fresh lemons and the views of the blue Mediterranean from the terraced olive gardens above. What do you think? Does my design capture the challenge criteria?

Color, Creativity, and Celebration!

Happy April, Beautiful Friends!

It's a very special month over here. There are personal milestones, like a wedding anniversary, several birthdays, and baseball and flowers are everywhere!

I want to update the Creative side of things:

1. New digital block-print designs are up in my Spoonflower Shop. These make great wallpaper and home decor, too. Great for that Spring update to your space!

2. Also, I will be posting the Freebie of the Month here this week, so keep a look out!

3. There are a few new prints for sale on the website. Available in many sizes to suit your space!

4. The Flower Fields are open in Carlsbad! Ranunculus in all the colors are always a good reason to celebrate! Purchase tickets online only. There's a butterfly garden this year!

I hope you are enjoying the last few days of Winter. 

I am here dreaming of my favorite season, SPRING! Not just for the beautiful flowers that offer so much painting inspiration, but also for BASEBALL SEASON! Don't you just love baseball? I have high hopes, as always for my Padres. Who is your team?

Hello my friends!

I hope you are fairing well with all that is going on around us lately.

I'd love to hear how you spent your Spring. Did you #STAYHOME ? Did you get out and explore? Meet your neighbors for the first time - socially distanced, of course? Please leave me a comment below and share one positive thing that has happened since the pandemic started.

As for me, I have been busy with all this down time creating and painting and enjoying a slower pace to life as we used to know it. Missing family and friends is a bummer, but we do have FaceTime and social media :) Imagine what this might have been like before smart phones and computers!
