Amazing Discovery-My Design on Gorgeous Handmade Bags!

Hello Beautiful Friends,

I just found out the most amazing news!

My best selling fabric to date on Spoonflower, Flowering Eucalyptus, has been spotted in the wild! Well, on Etsy, at least.

I always wonder where the fabric goes and for what purpose it was purchased. Although I always message the purchaser to show me their projects with my designs, I rarely hear back.

Then, one day while updating my own Etsy shop, I stumbled upon the most adorable handbags, made with my fabric! I found them on an Etsy shop called, ViolaAndJean. Look at this bag!

They have different sizes and use leather accents along with the canvas version of my fabric. So Lovely!!
They offer other styles, with different fabrics, too.
Pop over to ViolaAndJean on Etsy to check out all their great offerings!

Peace, Love, and Creativity,
Jodi

Masks Are Here For It! So, Sew Your Own Mask!

Hi friends! Looks like masks are here for the foreseeable future. Why not sew your own?

UPDATE: The following information has changed. The pre-made masks and mask kits are temporarily unavailable. There is beautiful new fabric, however, so you can sew your own! Below I have updated the post with the most current information.

Do you love to sew?

Have you tried sewing your own protective face masks?

Design shown above is my fabric, Muted Watercolor Rainbows, sold on Spoonflower.

Spoonflower makes it easy to sew your own masks. They have posted a great article to their blog with a free pattern! Pattern instructions can be found on the Spoonflower website here.  The pattern design fits most adults. You will also find how much fabric you need for adults or for kids, the size of the elastic, and more!

Design shown above is my White Flowers fabric design.

With the holidays fast approaching, crafting and sewing is a great way to give handmade gifts with love. Why not make a few face masks for your loved ones this holiday season?

Do you love to quilt, craft, or sew? Besides masks, Spoonflower has some really great craft projects,  such as totes and aprons, as well as really inspired fabrics by indy artists from all over the world. They have design challenges, giveaways, and a blog with endless design inspiration. Check it out before you dive in to your next creative project.

Peace, Love, and Creativity,
Jodi
