In case you hadn't heard, Pantone released their Color of the Year for 2025:
MOCHA MOUSSE was the big winner this year!
The Color of the Year (COTY) from Pantone often forecasts what's coming in fashion, home decor, and design trends. The average consumer does not think along the lines of what the design world might be planning when making a purchase. I am right there. However, as a graphic designer and a designer of fashion and home decor, I am eager to see what color is picked by Pantone each year.
This year's pick, Mocha Mousse, seems to be perfect for neutral or earth tone-based design applications. Here are a few pattern designs I created for my Spoonflower shop based on the COTY, Mocha Mousse and the coordinating color palette supplied by Spoonflower.
