What's Happening?
I just had a blast in February. I joined an art challenge again this year, painting flowers each day. #28FebruaryFlowers is hosted each year by @Amanda_Evanston . She is a brilliant, beautiful working artist, teacher, and MOM. Check her out if you ever wanted to take an online art class in an easy to follow format. The challenge was open to anyone. We were given a prompt each day, just for inspiration. You can create 2-D or digital art, submit photos, whatever your creative choice. The purpose of the challenge is to get everyone creating something everyday for the whole month of February. I am making this a yearly ritual. And it is fun! Even on the days you have little to no time, you think about art!
The first image above, which is titled, Spring Blossoms Mist, is now available in prints and home decor through my jlopezart gallery.

It's Twitter Art Exhibit Time Again!
If you haven't seen on my social media, the Twitter Art Exhibit 2023 is upcoming, this year in Vancouver, BC Canada! I sent my postcard sized art donation, which will be on display this June 24-25, 2023.
Once the exhibit ends, you can find all postcard sized artwork that was not purchased the first few days, at the online sale. Every purchase benefits a new charity each year. This year's exhibit will benefit the Urban Native Youth Association. Find out more about this charity here!
